The supplier's picture was somewhat deceptive (that's the picture which shows part of one strand). It shows the gold coating to be very bright and rich. To my eyes, it looks more like bronze, and it isn't as rich as that. It's possible that under the right light, the gold will look that bright. Even if it doesn't, these are nice beads. I purchased them from one of my expensive suppliers, which is why the price is so high. Don't forget that beads which are 3mm x 5mm are quite small. About my pictures: I took the beads off the strands to photograph them, which made them sit on their holes. To show you what they look like from their sides, I nestled two strands into the loose beads. If you look closely (especially in the close-up pictures), you'll see them. |
