7mm x 8mm rosebud-shaped beads with facets around the middles of the beads. |

Clear glass with what appears to be a little amethyst purple in the glass. Each bead then has a coating of fuchsia and gold on part of each bead (the gold coating is not real gold, of course). |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any significant defects. However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
These beads have an extremely complex appearance, so much so that I can't really tell what's in them even after looking at them for quite a while. These beads look best in bright light. In low light they retain their sparkle, but the colors look a little muddy. |
