6mm Dark Olive Green Round Glass Pearls [75] (see Comments)
Cost per bead: |
2.7 cents |
Bead material: |
Glass |
Country of origin: |
Czech Republic |
Size/shape: |
6mm round (spherical). |
Colors/description: |
Glass beads (probably white) with a dark olive-green synthetic pearl coating. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
The coating on Czech pearls is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it is. Also, inevitably a few pearls will be missing some coating around one of the holes (a common defect with Czech coated beads). A few pearls may also have some anomalies in the coating, such as bumps or indentations. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
IMPORTANT: I discovered some years ago that glass pearls have a tendency to fade over time, especially colors that have blue in them, such as green. As of February, 2020 these beads still look very much like the picture; but since they might fade with time, I have reduced the price substantially. With the exception of the color lavender, I have never seen pearls lose ALL their color. Also, it takes years for the colors to fade substantially. |
