6mm bicone-shaped.  Bicones are shaped like two pyramids joined at the base.

Colors/description:

Opaque golden brown and black with a black seam in the middle of each bead, and a matte finish.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The acid that they used to turn the surface matte may have left some small pits on some of the beads.

How photographed:

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

These beads are the same as the shiny 'tiger eye' bicone beads that I carry, but they have a matte finish.  These beads have a more vibrant color than is indicated in the picture.  Matte beads don't photograph well.  When I restocked these beads in April, 2013, I found that the supplier's price had gone up, but I was able to keep my increase to only 20 cents per lot.
