I haven't noticed any defects, but fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.  (However, please see comments below.)

Comments:

The latest batch of these beads looks very slightly duller to me than the batch pictured.  It's hard to describe the difference I am seeing, and I am not even sure of it.  However, if you purchased these beads before, you should know that the newest ones may not be quite as nice.  I brought the price down 20 cents per lot, not because of this difference, but because I am calculating my markup differently from before.
