Glass beads (probably clear) with a silver-colored coating (I don't know if the coating is actual silver, probably not).  (Please see my additional notes below.)

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The beads appear to be in good shape.  However, one or two beads per lot appear to be slightly dark or discolored.

The picture was taken by the supplier.

Comments:

When I originally posted these beads, in 2007, I used the supplier's picture to save time and work.  I wouldn't do that today.  However, there's nothing so special about these beads that a good picture is needed.  Round silver-colored beads -- you can't get more basic than that.  Please note that the supplier's prices for 3mm beads are about the same as for 4mm beads, so I can't offer a price break for 3mm beads.  (The supplier's prices for small beads have since come down, so I'll be able to lower the price when I restock them.)  Added later:  As I have worked with these beads, I have concluded that they don't look exactly like silver.  In low light especially, they look a little like chrome.
