These are Preciosa cut crystal beads, not fire-polished beads. These beads are the Czech equivalent of Swarovski beads. The facets of these beads are much more perfect than you will find on fire-polished beads. The color of these beads can shift somewhat depending on the light source. In some kinds of light they will look more aqua than the picture indicates. IMPORTANT: The new batch of these beads is a slightly darker shade of teal than the beads pictured. As I write this in early December, 2014, there are three lots of the lighter teal beads left, after which I'll be switching to the darker beads. |
