5mm (long) x 7mm (wide) cubes with rounded corners and edges.

Colors/description:

Glass beads (probably clear, but possibly black) with a dark bronze surface; the surface is probably fired onto the bead.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

I've noticed some beads with pits, but the percentage of defective beads seems to be low.

How photographed:

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

For reasons I don't understand, Czech cubes are always shorter than they are wide; perhaps they think that shape looks better than a perfect cube.

The cubes that I carried in 2007 had square edges and corners.  Personally, I prefer the appearance of those earlier cubes.  However, these beads (with rounded edges and corners) are nice enough.  Since I last posted them, I have lowered the price by 30 cents.
