Size/shape:

7mm x 8mm rosebud-shaped molded beads with facets around the outer edge.

Colors/description:

Translucent ruby red with a mottled bronze coating.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

I haven't noticed any defects, but please note that fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

Important:  The previous several batches of these beads had such a heavy bronze coating that they looked mostly bronze; you could only see that they were a translucent red underneath if you held them up to the light.  The new batch is clearly a red bead with a bronze coating, with the red being very prominent.  It's a different look, and I think some people will prefer the new batch and some people will prefer the old batch.  I should do a new picture, but taking pictures is so much work, so I am writing this note instead.
