Translucent cobalt blue with an iris coating on one side of each bead. Iris coatings are lustrous and multicolored, reflecting the colors brown, olive green and purple. |

The color in the picture isn't quite right. The actual beads are slightly darker and the shade is a bit more towards the purple. My camera made them look dark sapphire, soI shifted the color, but not quite enough. Years ago I carried dark sapphire beads that had a very shiny luster coating on them, and they were very popular. These beads are similar, although their appearance is more complicated because of the iris coating. |
