Defects:

I bought these beads from the "overstock" section of my supplier's site, and I discovered later that there is a mixture of sizes – some are 10mm and some are 12mm (most are 10mm).  Also, I noticed a few malformed beads, though not many.  I took a dollar off the price.

Comments:

As I said above, some beads are 12mm instead of 10mm.  I don't see why that should be a problem.  You could use the 10mm beads in a necklace and the 12mm beads for earrings.
