Copper-colored with a matte finish. The matte finish isn't accomplished by running the beads through acid, as is usually the case. Rather, the beads have a coating that is naturally matte. I think the coating synethetic, meaning polymer-based. |

I can't say why exactly, but I like these beads. The color is very intense. They look a little artificial in the sense that they don't look like real copper, but I think they would make interesting accent beads (even though they are fairly small). |
