Glass beads (either clear or white) with a synthetic dark-red speckled coating. The speckles appear to be dark brown. I believe, though I am not certain, that the coating on these beads is fire-polished to make it hard. |

My picture may make the beads look slightly lighter than they are, but not by much. They are a rich dark red, but not quite maroon. The speckles on these beads are not very prominent. The supplier's price was very high, so my price must be high also. |
