Defects:

The beads appear to be in good shape.  Multicolored beads of this type often have small pits between the layers of color, but I don't see many on these beads.

Comments:

IMPORTANT:  The actual beads are a lighter shade of purple than the picture indicates.  I noticed this when handling the beads in mid-2015.  So why did it take me eight years to notice that the picture was wrong?  The likelihood is that it was the first time I had worked with the beads during the day.  Because I am a night person, I pack almost all orders at night, and beads often look darker than they are when viewed under artificial light.  (Am I making sense?)

I do think these are nice beads.  They just aren't as dark as the picture makes them appear.
