Defects:

I haven't noticed any defects, but please note that the synthetic pearl coating on Czech glass pearls is thin, and I don't know how durable it will be.

Comments:

It's hard to describe this color:  pearly dark gray with a hint of blue.  Despite my comment above about the durability of the coating, I think the smaller glass pearls will probably be more durable than the larger glass pearls.

NOTE:  It's possible that the beads have lost some of their subtle blue color, but I'm not sure.  The picture shows beads that look mostly metallic (very much like nickel), so perhaps the beads never had much blue color to begin with.  Synthetic pearls can fade with time, especially any color that has blue in it.  You should not order these beads unless you'll be satisfied with beads that look primarily metallic.
