These are Preciosa cut crystal beads, not fire-polished beads. These beads are the Czech equivalent of Swarovski beads. The facets on these beads are much more perfect than you will find on fire-polished beads. Important: When I photographed these beads, my camera made the beads look light blue instead of aqua. When I shifted the color in my photo-editing program to aqua, it emphasized the red color in the coating. There is a little red color in the coating, but there is more amber than red, and that doesn't show in the photo. Mostly the coating is very dark blue. (The supplier's picture is also given.) |
