Price Per Lot: $3.20
Lots Available: 36
Style No. (bin): G2057 (aqb~4)

Style no.: G2057
Beads per lot: 25
Cost per bead: 12.8 cents
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 12mm (long) x 13mm (wide) x 4mm (thick) asymmetrical flowers with pronounced petals.  The front of the beads have a flower pattern pressed into them, and the backs are smooth.  The hole runs through the 12mm dimension, meaning that the beads are wider than they are long.  (The hole runs through the narrow portion of the bead, so you will need spacer beads to separate them.  My estimate is that you'll need 3mm spacer beads, or seed beads.  4mm beads might be too big.)
Colors/description: Translucent fuchsia with milky white on the surface.  (The supplier says that the milky white surfaces are light blue, but they look milky white to me.)
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: I initially posted these beads saying that they had straw lines on the backs of the beads, but closer examination has convinced me that they have cracks and fissures (although none of them appear to be coming apart).  My estimate is that 75% of them are in good to fair shape, and the remainder have larger fissures that make them defective.  (The defects can be seen on both sides but are most noticeable on the backs of the beads, which are smooth.)  I have reduced the price by more than 30%.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: These beads were expensive, but they also turned out to be defective.  Since I had stripped some of the beads off their strings, and since they are an interesting shape, I decided not to return them to the supplier.  Unfortunately, that supplier doesn't identify defects in the beads they sell.  Although some 70% of the beads have one or more small defect on the back of the bead, I estimate that only 15% to 25% of the beads have defects that are really noticeable.  As a compromise, I have reduced the price by almost a third.  If you don't worry about small defects in the beads you use, you will like these beads.

My picture is accurate.  Unfortunately, at the time I posted these beads, I was not posting close-up images, so you have only the one image to look at.
