16mm Amethyst Luster Dagger Beads [50]

Size/shape:  16mm (long) x 5mm (wide) x 3mm (thick) dagger-shaped beads with the hole running sideways through the narrow end.

Colors/description:  Translucent light amethyst purple with a luster coating that is slightly coppery.
 
Hole size:  1mm (estimated).

Defects:  The beads appear to be in good shape.  However, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few malformed beads, which is common with daggers (because they're so slender).

How photographed:  At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:  In bright light against a light background, the beads look very light.  To the eye, the glass itself looks bluish, but the coppery coating makes the beads look more purple.  Here is the supplier's picture, which shows the coating a bit better:
