8mm Sapphire Blue Faceted Cathedral Beads [25]

Size/shape:

8mm "cathedral" beads.  Around the holes the beads have wavy molded ridges, with facets around the middle.

Colors/description:

Translucent medium sapphire blue with a bronze coating over the molded ends.  I don't know if the coating is actual bronze.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

I haven't noticed any significant defects.  However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

These beads seem a little small because they are slender.  I usually buy cathedral beads in the 10mm size because they are more substantial, but I thought some customers might like a smaller version.  However, they have sold well.

The color in the picture is not 100% accurate.  The camera I am currently using doesn't capture certain blues very well.  Thus, the blue in the picture was wrong, and I had to manually adjust it – but I wasn't able to adjust it perfectly.  I don't know how to describe the actual shade.

In September, 2023, I discovered more of these beads on a shelf and restored them to the shopping cart.
