Beads per lot: | 40 |
Cost per bead: | 8 cents |
Bead material: | Ceramic |
Country of origin: | Japan? |
Size/shape: |
12mm (long) x 6mm (wide) cylinder-shaped beads. The hole runs through the length. |
Colors/description: |
White ceramic beads with a tan or beige coating, with black mottling added as the final coat. The finish is midway between matte and shiny. |
Hole size: | 1mm to 1.5mm (it's hard to tell; I don't have a tool to measure holes). |
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in very good shape. I'm eliminating any defective beads that I see, but I am not inspecting each bead on all sides. |
How photographed: | Between two daylight-balanced lamps. |
Comments: |
These beads are from my 1980's stash of beads that I had when I was making my own jewelry. I really like them, and I almost regret selling them, since I'm thinking of making jewelry again. I don't have many of them. |
