3mm (thick) x 5mm (wide) faceted rondelles. Rondelles are beads which are wider than they are long -- in other words, tire-shaped. |

Clear glass with a purple coating on part of each bead (the coating is not synthetic). I also see a hint of copper on the beads, so perhaps there is an additional copper coating (but if so, it is very light). |

All fire-polished beads have some imperfect facets. |

Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. The close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |

These are pretty beads, but please note that all my pictures are close-ups and show more detail than you'll see with your eyes. I have noticed about that they look better in daylight than under artificial light, which makes them look a little dull. |
