Glass beads (either clear or white) with a synthetic dark-green speckled coating. The speckles appear to be dark brown. I believe, though I am not certain, that the coating on these beads is fire-polished to make it hard. |

I originally took a picture at the window, but it was too blurry; so I took a picture under a lamp with a daylight-balanced bulb. Unfortunately, that leaves a very bright light reflection on each bead (there's nothing I can do about that). It is nearly impossible to photograph jewelry without getting unnatural-looking light reflections unless you use specially designed and expensive light equipment. The supplier's price was very high, so my price must be high also. (However, in December, 2015, I decided that $4.00 for 50 of these beads was just too high, so I reduced the price to $3.50.) |
