15mm Burnt Sienna/Pink Matte Dagger Beads [50] (see Comments)

Country of origin:  Czech Republic

Size/shape:  15.5mm (long) x 5mm (wide) dagger-shaped beads with the hole running sideways through the narrow end.

Colors/description:  Subtle brown stripes in what appears to be topaz.  The colors are melded together, and the overall effect is brown.  Some beads have pink highlights or are mostly pink.
 
Hole size:  1mm (estimated).

Defects:  The beads appear to be in good shape, although there are some small pits.

How photographed:  At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:  These are what the supplier calls "hurricane glass" beads.  Such beads are made with glass which is left over from other bead runs.  Often, hurricane-glass beads come out looking muddy, but these are very effective.  Important:  After working with them for a while, I noticed that some lots are all brown, with no pink beads at all.
