Fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. Hairline grooves can be seen on the sides of many of the beads, but they won't be noticeable if the beads are strung side-by-side in the normal way. |

Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |
