Price Per Lot: $3.00
Lots Available: 15
Style No. (bin): G2038 (cma~)

Style: 2038
Beads per lot: 50
Cost per bead: 6 cents
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 7mm (from hole to hole) x 8mm (wide) spiral-shaped beads that look somewhat like snail shells; these beads are similar to nuggets and baroque beads.
Colors/description: Glass beads (probably a milky white) with a satiny, light-olive-green synthetic coating.  (When I say synthetic, I mean that the coating is polymer-based; the coatings on most other beads on this site are metal-based.)
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: Important:  Since I got these beads, the color may have faded slightly (but only slightly, and I'm not even sure it has).  They still look substantially like the picture, but perhaps a little more like lime than olive (but I can't be sure because I don't remember exactly what they looked like when I got them).  Green is a mixture of yellow and blue, and I am no longer buying pearls that have any blue in them because the blue component fades.  That includes blue pearls, green pearls, aqua pearls, teal pearls, lavender pearls and purple pearls.  Strangely, only the satiny pearl colors seem to fade; the other coated beads that have blue in them don't seem to fade.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: Pearls are hard to photograph because the reflections of light from the window appear exaggerated, so I had to do a lot of post-processing on the photo.  It came out fairly well, although the light reflections are still too intense.

In March, 2015, I lowered the price by 50 cents, not because of what I said in "Defects" above, but because they are selling slowly.
