Bead material:
Country of origin:
Czech Republic
6mm snail shell-shaped beads.
Glass beads (probably white) with a lustrous grayish-blue synthetic coating.
Hole size:
1mm (estimated).
Defects: The coating on Czech pearls is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it is.  Also, inevitably a few pearls will be missing some coating around one of the holes (a common defect with Czech coated beads).  A few pearls may also have some anomalies in the coating, such as bumps, indentations or a bit of dirt.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: IMPORTANT:  I realized, after carrying pearls for many years, that any color that has blue in it fades with time.  The remaining lots of these beads are steel gray with just a hint of blue -- not nearly as blue as the picture indicates.  You should buy them only if you want gray beads.

I like this moody dark gray-blue.  I've never gotten it in this shape before.  The beads are sold in lots of 75 because they come strung that way.
