As I've said on many other pages, the purple glass made by the Czech manufacturers is always grayish, and that's true of these beads. In fact, I think the lavender color of these beads is a little more gray than usual -- and also a little more red when compared with the similar 10mm amethyst disk-shaped beads with the number G1165. Nonethless, I think they are nice beads. I should also say that I think the actual beads are better-looking than the picture shows them to be.
