Opaque lavender with a luster coating; the coating has a coppery hue. (I think the inner beads are white, meaning that the lavender color is a coating. Thus, the beads were coated twice: lavender and then luster.

An occasional bead may be malformed, which is common with very small beads. Also, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. |

A year or so ago, a customer requested 4mm opaque lavender beads. The beads that I got had the lavender color in the glass. Personally, I think these coated beads (where all the color is in the coating) are even nicer. It's important that you understand that these are not synthetically coated beads. Synthetic coatings are polymer-based. The coatings on these beads are metal-based.
