Beige (opaque tan) with a brown mottled "picasso" coating on the rounded portions of the beads.

Defects: |
These are fire-polished beads, meaning that they were pulled through an oven to make the surface molten and therefore shiny. However, when they do that, the facet on the underside of the bead is likely to come out looking imperfect (because gravity can make the molten glass pool slightly). Thus, you can expect at least one of the three facets on each bead to be a little rough. I have not reduced the price because of that; that's a drawback of using fire-polished beads, which are considerably cheaper than polished beads. I also noticed that an occasional bead has some dirt in the glass. If you get more than 5% unusable beads, please contact me for a pro-rated refund.

I carry beige picasso beads in two other shapes, and I thought these beads would be a good complement. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive.
