Very light yellowish beige (beige is always opaque). The supplier calls these beads "champagne" colored, and it's possible that all the color is in the coating. (The coating is not synthetic.)

The picture revealed that there is a little dark dirt in many of the flutes. Actually, it probably isn't dirt. These beads have a "champagne" coating, and some of it may have solidified in the grooves. I am not able to see the dirt with my eyes, so you probably won't be able to see it either. Also, the picture revealed that the beads seem to vary slightly in size from one to the next. However, when the actual beads are viewed, they appear fairly uniform.

My picture came out poorly. The very subtle color of these beads doesn't show in the picture very well. It is a very light yellowish-beige, almost cream colored.
