These are Preciosa cut crystal beads, not fire-polished beads. These beads are the Czech equivalent of Swarovski beads. The facets of these beads are much more perfect than you will find on fire-polished beads. I am 90% sure that all of the color is in the coatings on these beads, but I am not absolutely certain. Many Czech coatings have both a color and a metallic element. I do carry pink/gold beads that have the pink color in the glass, and they look very different. In my opinion, the colors in my picture are a little too dark. The actual beads are lighter. Also, don't forget that these are very small beads, and that the pictures are enlargements. The pictures show you more detail than you will be able to see with your eyes. |
