These are Preciosa cut crystal beads, not fire-polished beads. These beads are the Czech equivalent of Swarovski beads. The facets of these beads are much more perfect than you will find on fire-polished beads. The actual beads are a little lighter and, in my opinion, less attractive than the picture makes them appear. Also, I'm not sure I got the color quite right. (It's very hard to get the pictures perfectly right since the camera always sees them differently from how my eyes see them.) Don't forget that these are very small beads, and that the pictures are enlargements (showing you more detail than you will be able to see with your eyes). |
