An occasional bead has a pit or is malformed.  The thumbnail picture above shows such a bead in the 2nd strand from the top.

Comments:

I carried similar 6mm metallic rondels and they were very popular.  I haven't been able to get those rondelles again, so I thought these might work.  The picture is not as good as I would like.  There are many little light reflections marring the picture.
