19mm Green Picasso Luster Pinched Drop Beads [10]

Size/shape:

19.5mm slender "pinched" drops (i.e., drops with angles and flat surfaces as if you had pinched them between your fingers).  These drops are slightly flat.  They are 10mm wide and about 7mm thick.

Colors/description:

Opaque mottled green and blue beads with a brown mottled coating and a lustrous finish.  I believe, though I'm not sure, that all the color is in the coatings; the underlying bead is probably white.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The beads appear to be in good shape.  I usually inspect premium beads individually, but I can't inspect these because of the unusual shape.  If you receive any defective beads, please contact me for a partial refund.

Comments:

These are gorgeous, gorgeous beads.  I was thrilled to get them, even though they were very expensive.  Unfortunately, supplier "C" engages in premium pricing more than my other suppliers (i.e., they put a high price on any bead which is really desirable).  But in this case, I felt they were worth it.

I am calling them "green picasso", though many of the beads are more blue than green.  I've carried this color combination in other shapes, and I've called it "opaque green" and "mottled green" before.  When it is done poorly, it is very ordinary looking; but when it is done well, it is gorgeous.

My picture is pretty accurate, though it may be a little too contrasty.
