Defects:

My close-up photo of these beads revealed some little bubbles in the glass, some nicks, and some little scratches, but 90% of the defects are too small to notice with the naked eye.  Almost all glass beads have such small defects.

Comments:

I absolutely adore the brown porphyr color (porphyr is a term I picked up from another supplier; it means a swirl of color with white in clear glass).  For contrast, here is the supplier's picture:
