Defects: |
(1) After I started selling these beads,
a customer pointed out that more than 50% of them have very small cracks and/or dents near the holes. My own
examination showed that the cracks and dents are generally short (usually 2mm) and are not that noticeable, and
many customers may feel that the beads are entirely usable. Because of the size and surface area, large beads
almost always have some visible defects when examined closely. Nonetheless, I dropped the price from $3.20
to $2.50 per lot (about 22%). If you are unhappy with the beads that you get, just let me know and I'll give you a
store credit or partial refund.
(2) Sometimes the satiny blue stripes don't
completely cover the inner black glass. Because these beads are so expensive, I am eliminating such beads
before shipping (or including them for free). An occasional bead may also have a small scratch or surface
imperfection. |

These are thick, heavy, magnificent
beads. This is the "blue lapis" or "blue tiger eye" color, a standard with the Czech manufacturers. My
picture isn't very good since it was taken in the light tent and has some strange light reflections. Here is
the supplier's picture for comparison:  |
