Colors/description:

opaque aqua with speckles; some beads are darker and some are lighter, and some have more speckles than others; these beads have a low gloss finish (i.e., they are not as shiny as glass beads usually are)

Defects:

I noticed one bead that had a dent in it, but otherwise they look to be in good shape.

Comments:

(1) I think it's possible that these beads have a synthetic coating, but I'm not sure.  The low-gloss finish doesn't look like normal glass.  Also, the dented bead that I found (see Defects) looks like it may have been dented after it was made, and that would indicate that the beads have a coating that is softer than glass.  (2) As the picture indicates, not all the beads are the same shade of aqua.  (3) I don't know how the speckles were applied, so I don't know how durable they will be.  (4) Under indoor light (which usually has a yellowish cast), these beads look more teal than aqua (i.e., they are more green than the picture indicates).
