I haven't noticed any defects, but then, the complex pattern makes it hard to see any defects that might be there.

Comments:

These are truly magnificent beads.  I love black picasso, and I love this bold nugget shape.  The beads are a substantial size.  Please note that the spots are larger and brighter than I usually see on black picasso beads.
