translucent topaz or amber glass with loose swirls of dark brown or black in the beads (it is hard to tell which color the swirls are)

Defects:

I haven't noticed any defects, but please read my comments directly below.

Comments:

The supplier's picture above is quite accurate, so I probably won't be doing my own picture.  I'm not sure these beads should be called "tortoise" because tortoise beads usually have stripes in them, but the stripes in these beads are so loose that they are more like swirls.
