Defects:

Sometimes the brown stripes don't cover the core and the inner beige glass shows through.  Consequently, a small percentage (5% or less) have one side which is all beige.  Also, some beads don't have absolutely perfect stripes.  While dividing 1800 beads into lots, I noticed one bead which was cracked, but only one (of course, I didn't look at every bead).

I really like these beads.  Earthy brown beads like this have been very popular.
