Some of these beads may be cracked; the problem is, I can't tell because the beads are so small!
Right out of the camera, the large photo shows lines in many of the beads that could be cracks. With
my eyes, I am able to isolate some of the lines, but I can't tell if they are cracks or 'straw' lines.
Nonetheless, I have reduced the price by one-third. However, there is a problem for you if you buy the
beads: You may not be able to see the cracks either! So you wouldn't know which beads have cracks and
should be discarded, and which beads are good and should be used. The only way to tell for sure would be to
look at the beads under a microscope, but I don't have one. |
