Defects:

The acid that they used to turn the surface matte may have left some small pits in the glass.

Comments:

These beads are interesting.  They are the same as the shiny 'blue lapis' bicones that I carry, but they have a matte finish.  The matte finish actually makes the colors look somewhat muted.  As with many matte beads, there is a slight grayish hue to the surface.
