Colors/description:

Turquoise (opaque teal or greenish-aqua) with a medium-brown picasso coating around the edges.  Please see my comments about the colors below.

Defects:

I am hand-selecting the beads, so the worst defects will be eliminated.  However, very slight defects, such as small nicks in the glass, or very short, shallow scratches, are sent to the customer.  In other words, I can't afford to throw away beads that have defects that are barely noticeable.  I also don't throw away beads which are missing some of the picasso coating, although I am not seeing that defect very much.  Nor am I throwing away beads with picasso spots on the windows, unless the spots are large or unsightly.

Comments:

The beads in the picture were the first batch from 2006.  More recent batches have been a little more green than blue, similar to the G569 rectangles.  Also, the picasso coating around the edges is a lighter brown.
