Inevitably, a few pearls will be missing their nacre (the pearl coating) around the hole.  Please note that the nacre on Czech glass beads is not fire-polished and is not very thick, so these beads may be less durable than beads that have a glass surface.  I have written a special page about glass pearls; please click here to read it.

Comments:

Although I have concerns about the durability of Czech glass pearls, I think they are attractive, so I buy them on occasion.
