Defects:

I haven't seen any defects, but it's possible that an occasional bead may be cracked or have air bubbles.

Comments:

This is the original "tortoise" color (medium dark topaz with black stripes).  But some sellers, including me, use the word "tortoise" for any translucent bead with dark stripes.  My price has dropped 40¢ since I last stocked the beads.
