I haven't noticed any significant defects.  Some beads have areas of clear glass, but I don't consider that a defect.

Comments:

The picture above is old and not entirely accurate.  It is blurry.  Also, the actual beads are lighter, and the color of the beads is less rich and saturated.  Please note that these beads are 8mm long and not as large as the picture would suggest.
