Translucent blue, amethyst purple and lime green in a loose mixture. |

1mm (estimated). |
|
Defects: |
The picture revealed one bead that has a malformed end, and also a bead that looks
cracked, so we know that the beads are not all perfect. However, the
percentage of defects appears to be low. Please note that, since the
beads are translucent, the holes can be seen running through the beads,
and they have a rough or "frosty" appearance, something I've personally
never liked. |
|
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |

Comments: |
As you can see from the pictures, the new batch of these beads have more
blue in them. That blue, incidentally, can change its shade
depending on the kind of light you are viewing the beads under (daylight,
incandescent light or fluorescent light).
I first carried these beads in 2003 or a
little later.
Since then, my price has come down. I'm frequently surprised by how
high my prices were when I first started out. Also, back then I believed that these
beads were coated, but they aren't (the colors are in the glass). So not only have my prices come
down, but I know more about beads now than I knew then. |
