Size/shape:

16mm (long) x 11mm (wide) x 5mm (thick) flat ovals with the hole running through the length.

Colors/description:

Opaque satiny red and black with white stripes on some beads.  The inner bead is black, and the red and white are mixed into the black to form the stripes.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The stripes are not consistent from one bead to the next.  Some beads are mostly red, and some have much more black and/or white in them.  Also, some beads are not perfectly round, having one end which is uneven.  Because these are premium beads, I am eliminating imperfect beads.  Specifically, I am eliminating beads that have uneven ends and beads that have solid black areas or uneven stripes.  Areas which have a lot of black but otherwise have even stripes are not eliminated.  Occasionally a defective bead will get through; if you receive defective beads, please contact me for a partial refund.

If you look at the thumbnail picture above, I will eliminate beads 1 and 2 because they have uneven ends, and bead 3 because it has a large black area at the end that doesn't have any stripes.  But the other beads with narrow stripes would be included.

Comments:

The supplier has sold these beads for a long time, but I never got them because of their cost.  Since I am now carrying a lot of premium-priced beads, I decided it was time.
