Select:

32 cents per bead

Style no.:

G1731

Bead material:

Glass

Country of origin:

Czech Republic

Size/shape:

11mm (from base to tip) x 13mm (wide) x 4mm (thick) maple-leaf-shaped beads with embossed veins.  The hole runs through the 11mm direction – i.e, under the center vein.

Colors/description:

Gentle stripes of opaque bright lime green and black.  Some beads are more lime and some are more black.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The beads appear to be in good shape.  However, some beads are mostly black.  If the bead is made correctly, it will have even stripes.  Because of the expense of the beads, I am not eliminating the ones that are mostly black.  Only if a bead has a side which is almost entirely black am I eliminating it.  I estimate that 30% of the beads have one side which is mostly black or which has uneven stripes.  Please see my additional comments below.

How photographed:

At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:

As I state above, I am not eliminating beads which are mostly black on one side (up to 30% of them).  If I were to eliminate the beads that are mostly black, I would have to raised my overall price.  I am leaving the black beads in because I think that some customers will use them.  Thus, if you buy these beads and toss the ones that are mostly black, the remaining beads will cost you about 45 cents each.

A higher percentage of the beads in the picture look black than I am seeing with my eyes, so it looks like I didn't select a good handful of beads to photograph.
