Opaque navy blue beads with a printed coating of silvery AB (aurora
borealis) squares on each side. The squares are not lined up in the
same direction from one bead to the next. I don't know how
durable the peacock coating is, but as I handle the beads, I see no
evidence that it is flaking off. |

Comments: |
These beads represent my first foray into peacock beads. In the
beginning, I didn't even know what they were. But then I realized
that they are simply beads which have printed patterns on them.
Sometimes the printed patterns look a little messy. In this case,
the printed pattern is very well done. However, there is nothing
unusual about the underlying navy blue bead, which is just a plain bead.
All the appeal is in the peacock coating. |
